The iProxy app is compatible with all Android devices, however, some phone models have earned the hearts of our users. These are phones that have been tested over years of use, are durable, trouble-free, and support all the important proxy features.

If you didn't find your phone in the list, it DOES NOT mean that it is not compatible with iProxy! It means that it is not popular enough among our users yet.

iProxy's ChoiceThe most tested phone models that we are 100% sure of reliability and stability. If you are planning to buy a device specifically for iProxy, it is best to choose one of these options.
Digital Assistant and root
iProxy.online supports remote IP proxy rotation. It can be implemented in 4 ways:
- Digital Assistant setup — the easiest way.
- Working in owner mode — can be implemented on any phone, but requires factory reset and no Google account binding.
- Getting root rights — a laborious way with the risk of irreversible damage to the phone, recommended only for experienced users.
- MacroDroid app — a simple solution that works on any phone, but with very limited IP rotation functionality (only at periodic intervals, which can be changed only on the phone itself).
In the table of recommended phones we indicate the compatibility with each model of Digital Assistant setup and getting root rights. The presence of a check mark indicates that most likely (in the practice of our users), this feature works well for this device.
Owner mode and MacroDroid work on all Android models, so they are not listed in the table.
If your phone is not labeled Digital Assistant or root, it DOES NOT mean that these features do not work on this phone! It means that our users usually do not use these features on such devices.

General recommendations
- CPU: ARM Cortex-A53 is not recommended. Better to choose devices with 2Gb+ RAM.
- If you’re planning on buying a special phone to work with iProxy.online, DON’T pick Meizu since these models require you to perform extra steps when turning off energy-saving mode.
- Practice shows that for Huawei and Honor models, you’ll likely have to toggle off energy-saving mode and enable Auto-starts/Auto-launches. Fiddle around with the settings and turn off anything that may potentially prevent iProxy and OpenVPN from running in the background. - If you’re buying a new phone specifically for working with iProxy — choose phones we listed in the table and marked as ROOT. Huawei and Honor models are one of the most difficult to root. We recommend Alcatel 1 5033d Android 8.1.0 (one of the cheapest rootable phones. You can find a used model for around 1-2 thousand rub.), Ulefone s10 pro, etc.
- Xiaomi phones performed well enough, but there’s certain models that don’t work properly with proxies. If you ALREADY have a Xiaomi, install the app and test it out to see whether it works for you. If you’re still just planning to purchase a phone for working with proxies, DON’T choose Xiaomi, since there are other phone brands that are much more likely to work properly with mobile proxies.

According to our users' feedback, these phones are best avoided. If you already own one of these models, we recommend testing and verifying it yourself. However, if you're considering a new purchase, we strongly advise against choosing these phones.

What can you use mobile proxies for?
Mobile proxies can be used for various purposes such as web scraping, social media management, ad verification, market research, and maintaining online anonymity and security.
What do I need to start using mobile proxies?
To start using our mobile proxies, you need an Android device (smartphone/tablet), a mobile network connection (simcard), a proxy management tool or software to configure and use the proxies, and iProxy application installed on your Android device.
Do your mobile proxies support multiple locations?
iProxy enables you to create mobile proxies from your device, but the geo-location will always be the same as your device's actual location. If you need proxies from another location to pass geo-based restrictions, we suggest contacting our trusted sellers.
How often can I change the IP?
The frequency at which you can change your IP address depends on your internet service provider and network settings. Our service provides several methods of IP address rotation, so you can use the method that suits you best.
How many connections can I use for one proxy?
You can create up to 15 proxy accesses for 1 device. However, for simultaneous operation in, for instance, 5 unique IPs for 5 profiles, you'll need 5 phones, 5 SIM cards, and 5 iProxy subscriptions.
Are there any usage limits or restrictions?
No usage limits or restrictions in iProxy Online. Proxy speed varies by plan you choose, but all plans offer unlimited traffic volume (crucial for video) and IP rotations.
