How does your proxy checker work?
Our proxy checker tool sends test requests through your proxy to verify connectivity. It checks protocol support (HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5), measures response time, determines anonymity level by analyzing headers, resolves geographic location via GeoIP, and verifies HTTPS tunneling — all in real time via streaming results. Unlike a VPN that routes all traffic, proxies handle specific connections, so testing each one individually matters.
What proxy formats are supported?
We support multiple formats: ip:port, protocol://ip:port, login:password@ip:port, protocol://login:password@ip:port, and ip:port:login:password. Protocols supported are HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are accepted. Note: this is a proxy checker, not a proxy generator — paste your existing proxies to test them.
Are proxy checker results 100% accurate?
Results reflect the proxy state at the time of testing. Proxy performance, anonymity, and availability can change over time. We recommend periodic re-testing for critical use cases. GeoIP data accuracy depends on MaxMind database coverage.
What do the anonymity levels mean?
Elite means the proxy hides your IP and does not identify itself as a proxy. Anonymous means your IP is hidden but proxy headers are present. Transparent means your real IP is exposed — providing no privacy protection.
What should I do if my proxy is detected as Transparent?
