If you’re planning on buying a special phone to work with iProxy.online, DON’T pick Meizu since these models require you to perform extra steps when turning off energy-saving mode.
Practice shows that for Huawei and Honor models, you’ll likely have to toggle off energy-saving mode and enable Auto-starts/Auto-launches. Fiddle around with the settings and turn off anything that may potentially prevent iProxy and OpenVPN from running in the background. Here’s an example of how to disable power saving modes for Xiaomi models (without needing to mess around with too many settings): Youtube video guide.
Huawei and Honor models are one of the most difficult to root. If you’re buying a new phone specifically for working with iProxy - choose phones we listed at the article’s beginning with rooting instructions. We recommend Alcatel 1 5033d Android 8.1.0 (one of the cheapest rootable phones. You can find a used model for around 1-2 thousand rub.), Lenovo Vibe k5 plus, Ulefone s10 pro, Oukitel с12 pro, etc.
XiaoMi phones performed well enough, but there’s certain models that don’t work properly with proxies. If you ALREADY have a XiaoMi, install the app and test it out to see whether it works for you. If you’re still just planning to purchase a phone for working with proxies, don’t choose XiaoMi, since there are other phone brands that are much more likely to work properly with mobile proxies.
