### **Remote connection switching on mobile (for iProxy app version 574+)**

Let's say you want to authorize into a different connection in the app to continue working with proxies.
Previously, you had to log out of the app on your phone and log back in using a new PIN. This wasn't difficult if the phone was nearby.
Now you can do this remotely.

To do this, <a href="https://iproxy.online/app/?lang=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener referrer">in your personal account</a>, click on the connection name. In the window that opens, select Advanced -> Actions
From the dropdown list, choose the connection you want to authorize into

### **Proxy prefix selection**

By default, proxy access logins are generated randomly. This isn't always convenient, especially when you're selling proxies. Now you can specify a unified prefix for all new proxy accesses that will be part of the login. For example, proxyUSA, in your profile settings in the personal account.

Several digits will be added to each prefix to ensure each access remains unique.

### **Set proxy access format**

When copying proxy access credentials, the default format is type://hostname:port:login:password, which works for various anti-detect browsers.

But you can set a custom format for copying proxy accesses or choose a ready-made format from the dropdown list:

You can also choose whether the following information will be included when copying:
- All links for IP rotation
- The last link for IP rotation
- Automatic rotation (enabled or disabled)

### **Remote iProxy app update (for rooted phones or owner mode)**

If you have an old version of the app installed, in the Version column of the connection row you'll see a special icon:

If you've been working with iProxy.online for some time, you've probably noticed that we regularly update the functionality of your personal account. We actively add bulk actions for connections, introduce new buttons and links.

In this article, we'll tell you about important settings you might not know about.
Right now, you can configure a personalized dashboard to make working with proxies as visual, convenient, and fast as possible.

## Dashboard on the Personal Account Homepage 

Let's start with fixed settings that are saved every time you log in to your personal account.

You can configure the display option and determine what information you see on the homepage right after logging in.
For this, you need 2 buttons in the right-hand menu: the first controls the listing (grid or list), the second controls the displayed data.

The default grid sorting can display all connections on the homepage, grouping them accordingly. This format visually shows the current connection status: active green blocks and inactive red ones.
Each block displays basic information about the connection.

### Table Settings

If you've chosen list view, start with table settings.

Each connection has multiple parameters: ID, number of proxy accesses (Usage), proxy server location, tariff and its expiration date, availability of OpenVPN config, automatic IP rotation, current external IP address with the option to view the last 3 addresses, traffic, pOF for some rooted models, mobile operator (SIM).

In table settings, you can keep only the columns you use most frequently, so unnecessary information doesn't clutter your personal account.

### Quick Proxy Data Copying   

Different anti-detect browsers, software, and applications support different input formats. If you've chosen list view, you can copy this data with one click.

In credential settings, you can set the copying format for all connections on the homepage and for all proxy accesses within a connection. You can manually assemble the format or select a ready-made template from the dropdown list.

This is where you can set the proxy server format.

The difference between IP and hostname looks like this:

In rare cases, the proxy server might change its IP. That's why we recommend keeping the server hostname, which won't change even in case of technical migration.

### Highlights

You can configure connection highlighting:

1. If the tariff expires in N hours (default: 24 hours).

2. If the IP address repeated within N hours.

3. If the IP hasn't changed in the last N hours (a reason to check the connection).

### Groups and Sorting

Connections can be grouped and sorted conveniently within each group.

First, create a group using the button at the top right:

Then select the needed connections and add them to the group via Bulk Actions.

In Table Settings, select custom sorting:

Now you can change their order. To do this, click Groups - Sort Connections - and manually rearrange the connections as you prefer:

All basic settings are ready. This is how connection information will appear on your personal account homepage right after logging in.

## Dynamic Settings

If you work with a large number of connections, you've likely used dynamic filters and the search bar at least once.

The most popular filters are located at the top right.

Connections can be quickly sorted by their current status (online or offline):

and by owner: only your connections; those you've shared with other users; connections shared with you. Both filters can be applied simultaneously.

Besides manual filter selection, some columns in the connection list support sorting.

For example, connections can be sorted by tariff expiration date, and those expiring within the next week can be paid via bulk actions.
For rooted phones and phones with owner mode support, there's a function for automatic app version updates (starting from v573). To use this, sort connections by installed app version.

Some table parameters have additional features:

**External IP**: shows a window with the last 3 IP addresses.

**Traffic**: displays traffic consumption for the current month.

- Xiaomi redmi 3s
- Alcatel 5045d. Didn’t work very well for the user.
- Nokia c1 Plus. Proxies don’t launch properly.
- Asus Z00ED (Android 6.0.1). Proxies can be launched, but root access won't be able to toggle Airplane mode.
- Meizu U10 (Android 6.0). In the Macrodroid, it is not possible to fix the Airplane mode button toggle. And you can't change IP address via the voice assistant.

## General recommendations
- CPU: ARM Cortex-A53 is not recommended. Better to choose devices with 2Gb+ RAM.
- If you’re planning on buying a special phone to work with iProxy.online, DON’T pick Meizu since these models require you to perform extra steps when turning off energy-saving mode.
-  Practice shows that for Huawei and Honor models, you’ll likely have to toggle off energy-saving mode and enable Auto-starts/Auto-launches. Fiddle around with the settings and turn off anything that may potentially prevent iProxy and OpenVPN from running in the background. Here’s an example of how to disable power saving modes for Xiaomi models (without needing to mess around with too many settings):  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0gTYDDcuHo" target="_blank" rel="noopener referrer">Youtube video guide</a>.
- Huawei and Honor models are one of the most difficult to root. If you’re buying a new phone specifically for working with iProxy - choose phones we listed at the article’s beginning with rooting instructions. We recommend Alcatel 1 5033d Android 8.1.0 (one of the cheapest rootable phones. You can find a used model for around 1-2 thousand rub.), Lenovo Vibe k5 plus, Ulefone s10 pro, Oukitel с12 pro, etc.
- XiaoMi phones performed well enough, but there’s certain models that don’t work properly with proxies. If you ALREADY have a XiaoMi, install the app and test it out to see whether it works for you. If you’re still just planning to purchase a phone for working with proxies, don’t choose XiaoMi, since there are other phone brands that are much more likely to work properly with mobile proxies.
